Re-Do The Do- Double Braided Headband Double Hairdo

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday or a well rested time off. I did and it's back to the swing of things. I ate till I almost burst, laughed with family, drank a few drinks, the usual Thanksgiving day thrills. Next up, Christmas and with that comes even more delicious food, deserts, cocktails, and presents. And with the holiday season, you have to make sure your hair is on point. This is another re-do the do or hair style inspiration from the Essence magazine holiday issue. This is a great style for a formal dinner in addition to a cute protective style during the upcoming harsh winter weather.

I start with a stretched twist out. I part of a section of the hair near my ear to make the braided headband. I part the hair in two and braid each piece.

I then take those two braids and pin them on the opposite side of the head to make the band.

With the remaining hair, I pin and tuck the hair under section by section until all the hair is up.

I decided to tuck the hair in a demure chiffon type updo but you can pin the hair up anyway you choose. I'm all about the easy styles and this one can be done within a few minutes.

Another cute option is to wear the hair free and pinned to the side.

See you on the next post!
